Our Leadership
Who We Are
Jimmy White
Executive Pastor / Elder
Jimmy was born and raised in middle Tennessee. It’s also where he met his wife Jeanie. In 1997 they bought their first home and moved to Sparta, where their two children were born and raised. They attended a local church where Jimmy had the opportunity to start a men’s ministry. It was through leading this ministry that he discovered his love for studying and teaching scripture.
In 2015, through the sovereign work of God, Jimmy began leading a group of believers in a home gathering. Later that year, the group would officially become Fellowship Renewed Church. As he helps lead and serve at FRC, his desire is to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12-13).
During the day, Jimmy works for a surveying/engineering company as a project manager for commercial projects. He enjoys serving on the worship team, playing anything that’s competitive, and loves being outdoors hiking and camping.

Sam Taber
Elder
A native of Western Colorado, Sam attended The Master's College (now The Master's University) in California where he met and married his wonderful wife, Brett, in 2013. Together they moved to Wisconsin in the winter of 2014 where she attended graduate school at UW Madison.
Seeking warmer weather, rural living, and the opportunity to start a regenerative farm, they moved to White County, Tennessee in the fall of 2021. Within two weeks they found FRC, fell in love, and never looked back.
A heavy machinery salesman by day and farmer by night, Sam enjoys working with Brett and their four kids on all kinds of projects and chores. When he's not fixing something, or tending to animals or kids, he likes to hunt and read.
As an elder, it's Sam's desire to see people grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus as they see and savor him in the Scriptures. He's particularly interested in the Bible's overarching story, applying the Christian worldview to contemporary issues, and helping believers bear with one another as we eagerly await the return of our Lord.
